I face an issue with fSMORoleOwner attribute. Here are instructions how to modify attribute

How this problem occur:
If you run adprep /rodcprep it tries to contact the infrastructure master for each application partition in the forest.
The command does this to set the permissions that are required for Read-Only Domain Controller (RODC) replication and it might fail if:
1. partition does not exist anymore
2. the infrastructure master for the referenced partition or partitions has been forcefully demoted or is offline

How to fix this?
Microsoft has example script which fix the problem. Script has to be run on Infrastructure master role holder.

OR
you can manually change the attribute to correct value.

For example if problem occurs in DomainDnsZones object where you find fSMORoleOwner attribute is
CN=Infrastructure,DC=DomainDnsZones,DC=contoso,DC=com
-> click properties – find fSMORoleOwner attribute and change value of Infrastructure master FSMO role holder to attribute

How to query fSMORoleOwner value? Example below:
ldifde -f Infra_DomainDNSZones.ldf -d “CN=Infrastructure,DC=DomainDnsZones,DC=contoso,DC=com” -l fSMORoleOwner
